Associated Community Brokers, Inc. (ACBI) Producer John Czel, CPCU, spoke at a Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC) seminar held at Norwalk Community College on March 16, 2010. This 3 part seminar is devoted to those women who wish to start a new Family Daycare Business. John explained the ways insurance may eliminate or greatly reduce the exposures to loss these entrepreneurs will face in creating a new business. ACBI is always pleased when asked by groups to help explain some of the day to day insurance problems business owners face and how best to handle them through insurance.
Associated Community Brokers, Inc. (ACBI) was a proud sponsor of a Gala Fundraiser to benefit the Fairfield Arts Council and Lincoln Center Visual Arts Department on February 26, 2010. More than 150 people attended the event which had to be postponed to Saturday evening due to the snow storm. The Fairfield Arts Council is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering and supporting the arts and artists in Fairfield. The arts are integral to the cultural well being of the people of Fairfield and ACBI is pleased to be a part of the Fairfield Arts Council’s efforts.

John Czel, CPCU, was a principal speaker at CTREIA's quarterly meeting of Apartment Owners in Cromwell, Connecticut. John spoke to the group about the various insurance exposures they face as apartment owners and how best they can reduce their exposures to loss. The meeting was attended by more than 75 members.
